The monument list is extensive of our Pyrenean one, is in his almost totality small churches that have been ignored by their smallness in the assembly of the history of the art. Coll de Nargó is a beautiful exponent of this Romanesque one. The church of Sant Climent, the century X-XI, Sant Miquel of the Masías, Sant Martí of the Flat one, the chapel of the Virgin Maria of the Providence -in the Prats-, Santa Maria de Remolins, Sant Romà and Sant Miquel de Vilars, in Valldarques; Sant Serni in Gavarra, Sant Joan de Carreu, Sant Andreu de Sallent (also known like San Maximí), Sant Joan de Montanissell, Sant Jaume de Cases, rest of the left church of the Pla de Talustre, Santa Gueta, in the Commas, (Gavarra),... special mention deserve, the tower Villa and vicaría of Valldarques. In this section we will dedicate ourselves to speak of some of them, to part of the church of Sant Climent, to which we dedicated a special section, to that you can accede through the main menu, or clicando in the bond of above.

Carreu, the tower and the church of Sant Joan. (Clicad to see the greatest image).
Carreu de Gavarra. In earth more to the west of the municipality of Coll de Nargó, we found how many houses of payés, located to a height that clears the thousand meters and in places it forces isolated. Houses which at his time of splendor they reunited to a crowd of people dedicated to the own works of these places, where are had to take advantage of until the smaller handspan of earth, of dry land, and to take advantage of it for the grass flocks, or are ewes, goats or pigs. In Carreu de Gavarra, the importance of the house is also demonstrated in the size of the term. The fact to have románica church, already marks an antiquity like important house, as well as that it had watchtower. As much the church of Sant Joan as the tower is conserved in good state, although for years Carreu has been being vacated.

Sant Sadurní or Sant Cerni de Gavarra. If in the term of Coll de Nargó there is a place that it as much captivates at sight as to the spirit, this it is, without doubt, the town of Gavarra. In spite of being to thirty kilometers of the capital of the municipality, the narrow highway that it leads, offers magnificent views to us of average region of the Alt Urgell. Arriving at Gavarra, the first image that appears to us is a knoll crowned with houses of stone, rather cobrizo color, and also tiled of stone. It emphasizes, like a signal of old humanity, the round tower of the bell tower, that comprises of the church of Sant Sadurní or Sant Cerni. In the photography we see it of more close by, with the leaned cemetery, and forming a Romanesque assembly of style of beautiful stamp. Also you can be approached the castle, already named in documents of beginnings of century XI.

Sant Joan de Montanissell. (Clicad to see the greatest image).
Sant Joan de Montanissell. It is an absolute curiosity, and chance, that to the two churches of Montanissell knows them by the same name, simultaneously that both are located outside the population, and almost to the same distance of this, although one is located towards the side of the noon and the other towards west a the one The one that we can see the photography is románica, as it shows the apse and the arcs that decorate it. It has, then, more than nine hundred years of history. Sant Joan is well well-taken care of, thing that we cannot say, unfortunately, of many other románicos monuments of the region. Alongside same is the cemetery. We can raise foot, in about ten minutes, from Montanissell. The own building, as well as the Vista towards the East that we can see from him, makes the visit frankly advisable.

Chapel of the Virgin Maria of the Providence. Another place of the term of Coll de Nargó, calm and with a very pleasant landscape and of mountain we found it in the Prats, one long strip of flat earth and culture, closed to the north by the rocky summit of Boumort and at noon by the shady zone of the mountain range of Sant Joan. The Prats, also denominated Montanissell or Carreu, enjoys a climate healthful, and very sunny. In the middle of all it we found the chapel of the Virgin Maria of the Providence, simple but brave before the solitude and invier themselves of snow and cold, that the sun stops and it greets it with its simple bell tower of espada6na. You will arrive by the band of Bòixols, happening through the Forat of the Prats, or from Montanissell, through the Pitarell and leaving to both sides the Font Freda and the Caves of Ormini.

Sant Maximí de Sallent. One is one of the románicas churches of the term of Coll de Nargó more been accustomed to and simultaneously more not knowing. One is located in the middle of the valley of Sallent, in a landscape place to cautivadir, emphasize sillares matched up of the three apses well that we found. The bell tower, descabezado, could have been, formerly, a defense tower. You will arrive at Sant Maximí by the way that leads to Sallent, entering by the high part of the valley, once crossed the Creu de Ferri, coming from the highway of Bóixols.

Sant Romà de Valldarques. In spite of the dispersion of the houses, in Sant Romà, a main nucleus, where it emphasizes the bold location of vicaría and that it presides over the románica church of Sant Romà, with an outstanding bell tower and peculiar tapiadas windows average, in one exists of which we can contemplate decorativas paintings. In Sant Romà also the apse deserves special attention, by the disposition of stones of friso of underneath tejadot, put of parallel form, a particular case within the románica architecture, where we found the typical disposition in tooth of mountain range. We will find Sant Romà de right Valldarques where the forest track is finished that takes to the nucleus of the town.

Sant Martí of the Flat one. (Clicad to see the greatest image).
Sant Martí of the Flat one. Románica church located in a strategic passage between Valldarques and the valley of Sallent. Windy bell tower, stone walls coming from same place, blanquinosa stone that with the sun solemnity relief acquires. The church of Sant Martí was divided by a ray, and, at the moment shows adding of half of the century IXX, that empeque6nece and gives to the assembly a a little confused air. Worn down the tile roof, with an oak that little makes to cover that zone, you can however admire the firmness of the bell tower with the stone cap and the apse, with two windows of spill and lombardos arcs. One appears to us, by its construction, simple but guessed right, like a manger. You will arrive at her by the highway of Isona. To average ascent an indicator to the right leads to Sant Martí of the Flat one.
